The Medical Health Big Data Committee of the Guizhou National Technical Standard Innovation Base was set up in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 15.
The Guizhou National Technical Standard Innovation Base was established in September 2018, becoming the first of its kind in China. The Medical Health Big Data Committee is one of its 14 professional committees, which also include committees on the big data of government, big data of transportation, as well as big data of block chain and digital economy.
Its expert committee was also established, consisting of several experienced experts in standard formulation and certification, big data of medical health, as well as clinical practices.
The committee aims to build an open platform for medical health big data with the integration of government, industry, education, and research through resources from experts, hospitals, and enterprises.
In addition, the committee will explore the standard and model of medical insurance data, as well as their application in clinical treatments, follow-up standards for chronic diseases, and the prevention and screening of public health diseases.
