To expand the region's opening up efforts and attract more foreign investment in West China, apromotion fair isbeing held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from July 15 to 17.
About 120 representatives of transnational corporations and government departments are attending the fair.
Guizhou has accelerated the construction of national pilot sites for ecological civilization, big data, and inland open economy. These efforts have further developed the province's economy, with its growth rate ranking among the top three in China for eight years in a row.
As a hub connecting central and southern China, Guizhou is located in an important geographic strategic position, and is also a rewarding place for investors.
During the fair, representatives from multinational corporations such as Intel, Samsung, and Sony will inspect Guizhou's enterprises, industrial parks, and development zones.
