China's Ministry of Justice officially launched its English language website on July 16.
The opening of the website was a major step by the ministry towards upholding and carrying out the new thoughts and strategies of President Xi Jinping, also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, to promote law-based governance, said a ministry press release.
It will also help better introduce the world to China's achievements in the rule of law and administration of justice, the statement went on.
On the website - https://en.moj.gov.cn/- readers can find out China's practices in law-based governance, reform measures and achievements in the country's judiciary sector, as well as foreign nations' experience in related fields. It features six channels — Rule of Law, About Us, Media Center, Policies, Services and Contact Us.
Tuesday's launch ceremony in Beijing was attended by Justice Minister Fu Zhenghua, Vice-Minister Xiong Xuanguo, Zhou Shuchun, publisher and editor-in-chief of China Daily, as well as Kang Bing, deputy editor-in-chief of China Daily.
