Tech elites chase their dreams in SND

A total of 350 talents from China and abroad made their homes in Suzhou New District on July 11 during the ongoing Venture Week for International Elites in Suzhou.

In addition to their unparalleled intelligence, these elites brought a number of cutting-edge projects related to information technology, renewable energy, integrated healthcare, and smart manufacturing.

The venture week is arguably the most anticipated annual event for employers in Suzhou New District. It has been around for 11 years promoting the import and exchange of innovative and entrepreneurial resources.

Since 2009, over 3,000 high-end talents from 20 countries have been attracted to Suzhou New District.

The annual event has brought in a total of 635 projects worth over 5 billion yuan ($727 million). More than two thirds of newcomers have at least a master's degree and over 40 percent have doctoral degrees.

Today, Suzhou New District is home to over 250,000 talents, and the number continues to rise.
