A center for high-end services was jointly launched by Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province and Hong Kong at the 2019 Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship and Investment Summit on July 9, local media reported.
The investment summit aims to serve as a communication platform and attract a group of Hong Kong enterprises in the high-end service and hi-tech industries to Hangzhou.
Located in Shangcheng district, the joint venture will gather chambers of commerce and organizations from the two regions and provide services in businesses development, project introduction, talent cultivation, tourism, training and preferential policy information.
As an essential part of the Hangzhou-Hong Kong demonstration zone for high-end service industry, the center is expected to serve as a hub of communication and exchange between Hangzhou and Hong Kong enterprises and promote resource sharing between the two cities, said an official of the center.
Several cooperation agreements were signed between Hangzhou and Hong Kong enterprises during the summit.
In recent years, as Hong Kong has developed into the largest source of foreign capital in Hangzhou, the cooperation between the two cities plays an important part in the international development of Hangzhou enterprises.
