A high-speed railway train will be launched on July 10 connecting Harbin, capital city of northeastern Heilongjiang province, to Chengde, the national-level summer resort in North China’s Hebei province.
The service is to be served by the G380 high-speed railway train and runs every day, officials said.
It will depart Harbin West Railway Station at 6:27 am and pass through Changchun West, Siping East, Shenyang North, Xinmin North, Fuxin, Beipiao and Chaoyang, before finally arriving at Chengde South Railway Station at 11:09 am.
Officials said it takes about 4 hours 42 minutes to finish the 1,000-kilometer single journey.
The train’s maximum speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
It is the first time a direct high-speed train is running between Harbin and Chengde.
