Changchun Beihu National Wetland Park is located in the northeast of downtown Changchun. With the planned land area of 11.82 square kilometers, it is situated in Changchun New Area. It officially opened to the public in July 2012, and was officially rated as a national 4A tourist attraction in May 2014.

The park is the largest national urban ecological wetland park in Northeast China, equipped with functions of wetland protection and utilization, science education, wetland research, ecological tourism, leisure and entertainment.

Additionally, it is rich in wildlife resource, represented by pine, willow, birch, and a variety of wetland birds, which is an ideal habitat for various plants and animals.
