Qinghai University

Established in 1958, Qinghai University has developed into a teaching and research university featuring engineering, agriculture, medicine and management, and was listed as a national key Project 211 university in 2008.

The university covers 200 hectares of land in a beautiful environment and has a building area of more than 650,000 square meters. Its library has 1.67 million books.

The university has over 27,000 students, with more than 20,000 of those undergraduates. It employs 4,651 staff members, 87 percent of whom hold master's degrees. The university has an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences

Qinghai University has 57 master's degree authorization centers and 69 undergraduate programs, six of which are listed as national characteristic specialties.

The university has carried out international cooperation with universities from over 20 countries and regions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan to promote its further development.
