53-day road trip culminates in Shanghai for German cultural ambassadors

Called the Hamburg-Shanghai New Silk Road Bus Tour, the road trip spanned nearly 13,000 kilometers and took them to eight countries along the ancient Silk Road, including Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
Co-hosted by the cultural exchange association (Gesellschaft für Deutsch-Chinesische Verständigung e.V.), ZEIT REISEN and China Tours Hamburg CTH GmbH, the bus tour has been held for the past four years to promote communication between China and Germany as well as raise awareness about the Belt and Road Initiative.
