The “Summer of Baishan” cultural tourism festival commenced at Changbai Korean autonomous county in Baishan city, Northeast China’s Jilin province, on July 6.
Hosted by Baishan municipal government and Jilin culture and tourism department, the festival is themed around leisure and escaping summer, and will run until October.
During the four months, a total of 53 activities in four themes –– culture and art, summer leisure, fitness and economic and trade exchanges –– will be held, allowing people to spend a cool summer holiday in Baishan.
On the opening day, photography works about Baishan landscape were showcased, as well as performance of traditional Korean art and local food.
