Guizhou Ecological Day started from June 18 and lasted for a week, raising public awareness among locals of the importance of the environment. The clear sky and beautiful scenery show great efforts have been made in the province's green development.
The initiative was first created in August 2016 and has since played an important role in its environmental protection efforts.
This year's Ecological Day focused on pollution prevention and control, with environmental supervision, protection, and improvement activities taking place.
Viewing green development as one of its important strategies, Guizhou province has made efforts to develop a strong green barrier, improve the green system, cultivate a green culture, develop a green economy, and build a green homeland.
