Intelligent industry agreements signed at innovation park

The new Shenyang Shoufu Science and Technology Innovation Park signed strategic cooperation agreements with 14 companies operating intelligent businesses, according to information released at a press conference in Shenyang, capital city of northeastern Liaoning province, on June 28.

Located in Shenyang’s Huanggu district, the science and technology innovation park covers an area of 50,000 square meters and has facilities including industrial buildings, residential apartments and intelligent exhibition halls.

The park will focus on technology, talent, capital and market demand -- and introduce public support, enterprise management, financial technology, government services and community exchange platforms to create a cluster of scientific and technological innovation industries.

The first batch of projects settling in the park include the Alibaba Cloud Service Innovation Center, the Northeast Center of National Intellectual Property Big Data Industry Research and Application Base and the Wanke-Haier “Smart City.Smart Community” Pilot Project.

The Alibaba Cloud Service Innovation Center settled in a 1,000 sq m innovation center at the park, and will mainly focus on developing small and medium-sized start-ups with good development prospects.

The Huanggu district government will grant a one-off fund subsidy of 500,000 yuan ($72,900) for startups incubating in the park.

The Northeast Center of National Intellectual Property Big Data Industry Research and Application Base is the first intellectual property big data research center in the northern region.

Officials said it will provide intellectual property industry financial big data consulting services and patent asset management operations for the northeast region.

They added that it will rely on the talent and professional advantages of national-level intellectual property platforms, to provide a full range of intellectual property services for technological startups and foreign enterprises starting businesses in the Northeast China region.
