On July 2, the "Boao Consensus", which was one of the great achievements of the World New Energy Vehicle Congress 2019, was launched in Boao, Hainan province.
The document was created by parties of global auto industries, who gathered in Boao to discuss auto industry transformation and sustainable development.
According to the consensus, attempts will be made for new energy vehicles (NEVs) to account for 50 percent of the market share of the global auto industry.
The consensus mainly consists of six aspects including the transformation direction for the automobile industry, as well as the goals and development path for the future of the auto industry.
