Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province will build a ski park at Luchun Lake scenic area, local media reported on June 30.
The park will boast the largest scale, number of ski tracks and most complete facilities in East China.
Located more than 1,200 meters above sea level, the park is capable of holding 133,600 square meters of snow. Time for making snow in the planned park ranges from mid-to-late December to late February depending on conditions of the slope, water source and weather.
The park will include five functional zones for skiing, skiing training, alpine skiing, family friendly entertainment and logistical support.
In addition, camping, mountain biking and other entertainment projects will also be available at the ski park, providing fun for tourists all year round.
It is expected to be put into service next winter.
