The 2019 East Asia Expo will be held in Jinan, capital city of East China's Shandong province, from July 5 to 7, a news conference reported on Friday.
More than 200 renowned companies from 40 countries and regions will showcase as many as 10,000 varieties of products, ranging from luxury jewelry to daily items such as wine, skin care, electronics and food.
With a focus on opening-up, cooperation and mutual benefit, the expo will offer more opportunities for Shandong and East Asian countries to trade and cooperate with each other, and will further promote Jinan's opening up.
This year's expo, covering an exhibition area of 26,000 square meters, is set to offer 24 display areas with 800 booths for companies from across the world, including from South Korea, Japan, Poland, Sri Lanka, India, Italy and Russia.
Several renowned companies, such as Ambermoda, Poland's top jewelry brand, Atlantis Jewelry from Pakistan, and SKP Business Consulting Co, India's largest consulting service company, will be present at the expo.
The first East Asia E-commerce Development Summit and 2019 Shandong E-commerce Congress, as well as the second China-Japan Health Care Forum, will also be held during the expo.
The summit aims to share the latest achievements and trends in global e-commerce, while the health care forum will invite renowned experts to explore the industry and services in East Asian countries.
The expo is jointly hosted by the Jinan municipal government, the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial Government and the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shandong Sub-council.
