Suzhou International Technology Talent Park in Suzhou New District of Jiangsu province went into operation on June 28, local media reported.
The park, the second of its kind in China, is dedicated to exploring global talents and attracting influential multinational human resource companies.
The park will also establish a special institution offering Foreign Expert Certificates and qualification certificates to foreign talents.
At the launch ceremony, the talent park signed strategic cooperation agreements with three internationally leading providers of recruitment and staffing services – Adecco Group, Randstad Group and ManpowerGroup.
According to a spokesman for the newly-launched Suzhou park, the park is expected to attract 20 top 100 HR service agencies from within China, 10 foreign-funded HR service providers, establish bases for high-profile talents in 10 countries and regions, attract more than 1,000 high-level talents each year, and serve 2,000 companies each year by the end of 2025.
On the same day, a job fair was staged at the talent park with 60 enterprises and public institutions offering more than 550 jobs, mainly involving new-generation information technology, medical devices, intelligent manufacturing and new energy.
