Groundbreaking ceremony

Yung was the forefather of Chinese overseas studies. The schools will uphold the educational concept of Yung Wing schools, integrating traditional Chinese culture and drawing on successful experiences of western education. Highlighted will be a community-styled management mode.

Teaching, office, and research buildings will be independent for each school. Public resources including library, culture-sports and performance centers, thousand-seat theatre, gymnasium, natatorium, and fencing hall will be shared. The dormitory will accommodate eight out of ten fully enrolled students.

Architecturally, the Yung Wing schools will feature traditional Lingnan (Cantonese) style and Chinese layout. All facilities will be built to national two-star green building standards under the principle of Sponge City construction.

Funded by Huafa Industrial Share, the facilities are slated to be completed by January 2021, at which time Huafa Education Investment Holdings will be entrusted with operation and management.
