A total of 23 companies from Northeast China’s Jilin province will participate in the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Changsha, capital of Central China's Hunan province, from June 27 to 29, according to the Jilin Department of Commerce.
The exhibition area for Jilin will cover an area of 100 square meters. With its theme of “communication, cooperation and win-win”, the expo will showcase the achievements and the long-term plans of Jilin-African commerce and trade.
Organizers said that nine Jilin companies that have done business with African companies will be particularly promoted at the event.
Li Yu, an academician at Jilin Agricultural University, will deliver a speech at an agricultural cooperation and development seminar during the event. Organizers said Li would share experiences about conducting demonstrations and promoting mushrooms in Zambia, and helping to train local agricultural technical personnel.
Jilin province is expected to seize the opportunity of the event, to deepen cooperation with African countries in economic trade.
