A highly intelligent government service robot was put into use at an administrative service center in Heping district, Shenyang, Liaoning province, on June 26. It is the first of its kind in Northeast China.
Some multipurpose self-service form-filling machines were also introduced, offering inquiry and printing services.
Equipped with voice and vision recognition technology, the robot is able to interact with users and provide services such as consulting, policy explanations, and more.
Such services are meant to reduce processing time and improve efficiency for both applicants and staff, according to local authorities.
