Guangxi promotes economic and trade cooperation with Africa

Nanning held the Guangxi Procurement and Investment Fair with Representatives of 16 African Countries on June 25, reaching a preliminary purchase intention of $30 million on site.

Co-sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi committee, the African Union, the China-Africa Alliance of SMEs, the Embassy of Burkina Faso in China, the Embassy of Ethiopia in China, and the China Trade Week committee, the fair featured 96 indoor booths with a product exhibition area of 6,600 square meters. 

More than 60 buyers encompassing building materials, mining machinery, pesticides, furniture, home appliances, consumer electronics, clothing, and other industries in 16 countries, including Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Zambia, conducted one-on-one negotiations with more than 90 Guangxi enterprises in seven major industries spanning construction machinery, building materials, food and medicine, daily households, pesticide agricultural machinery, electronic equipment, as well as medical equipment.

In addition, the fair also carried out the exhibition and sales of Guangxi specialty products. Hundreds of Nanning enterprise representatives and professional visitors conducted on-site procurement negotiations.
