China-Russia (Harbin) economic and trade index, reflecting the level and trend of bilateral trade development, was launched in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on June 16.
The index, designed and developed by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China and the University of International Business and Economics, comprises of national trade index and regional trade index.
The national part includes China's trade index, import index, export index, intra-industry trade index and trade complementarity index with Russia, reflecting China's economic and trade exchanges with Russia in all aspects and at multiple levels.
The regional index refers to Harbin urban radiation index, which will provide decision support for Harbin's economy and trade with Russian central cities.
