Tangxia town, Jiangmen
A major industrial town

Tangxia town in the north of Jiangmen can be dated back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). In recent years, the town has been focusing on industrial development, forming the three pillar industries of smart manufacturing, healthy food and precision machinery with nationally famous brands including Hisense, Kangshifu and Tobacco Mauduit.

Dayong town, Zhongshan
National mahogany furniture production town

Dayong town is located in the southwestern part of Zhongshan, with the Qijiang and Xijiang rivers passing by on the east and west.

With over 40 years of development in the mahogany furniture industry, Dayong is the first national mahogany furniture production town in China. There are many famous mahogany furniture firms and postdoctoral innovation bases in the town with more than 1,200 related patents.

Furthermore, the local furniture carving technique was listed in the fourth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritages.
