Czech delegation visits Shanxi University

A six-member delegation of Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic visited Shanxi University on June 19.

Huang Guitian, president of Shanxi University, reviewed cooperation achievements in biotechnology field with companies and scientific research institutes in Moravian-Silesian Region since the region established sister province relationship with Shanxi province in 2018.

Huang expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation on academic research and student exchange visits.

Jarmila Uvírová, deputy governor of Moravian-Silesian Region, introduced culture and education status quo in the region and showed great interest in traditional Chinese music instrument after watching rehearsals by the university’s Academy of Music, hoping to further music and art education communication and collaboration between the region and the university.
