A total of 76 grain companies from Northeast China’s Jilin province participated in the 2nd China Grain Trade Conference held in Zhengzhou, Henan province, from June 21 to 23, to promote Jilin grain.
The companies displayed more than 300 categories of products at the 500-square-meter booth, such as various kinds of rice and beans.
To allow visitors to directly know more about Jilin rice, VR (virtual reality) glasses were available at the exhibition, wearing which people can see how the rice grows and is produced.
Deals on 450,000 tons of grain were made between Jilin companies and purchasers during the event, and Jilin Provincial Food and Material Reserves Administration and Henan Provincial Food and Material Reserves Administration also agreed to broaden their cooperation.
In addition, a total of 18 companies took part in a sales exhibition event for high-quality grain and food from the country’s poverty-stricken areas, displaying Jilin’s achievements in poverty alleviation.
