Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has established more than 500 5G stations, covering nearly every key region across the city, according to the China Tower Guiyang branch on June 21.
At present, the main business districts, roads, airports, train stations, park, and squares have been equipped with the advanced network, while macro stations and indoor distribution systems are in the midst of a quick installation process in the city.
"The 5G infrastructure has paved a smooth road for the operation of the network. In the near future, residents will be able to enjoy 5G for different fields, including government affairs and business," said Wang Boyu, manager of the telecommunication development department from the branch.
