2019 Smart China Expo to kick off in Chongqing

The 2019 Smart China Expo is scheduled from August 26 to 29 at Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

It is the second time that Chongqing will hold the expo. According to previous experiences, Chongqing will coordinate traffic departments to ensure smooth transportation service during the expo.

The expo will establish a 31 kilometer-long dedicated bus lane for the first time to improve the transportation efficiency of special vehicles during the exhibition.

The organizer has used the experience of expositions in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen for reference. They are aiming to complete the 14.7 km-long road reconstruction project, establish a smart travel and parking guidance system, as well as provide 4,000 temporary parking spaces for the expo.

In the future, the preparatory work of the expo will focus on venue security, food and beverage safety, environment, service, as well as the optimization of smart projects.
