Yantai set to host intl wine expo

The 12nd Yantai International Wine Expo is to be held at Yantai's international exposition center from June 28 to 30, a press conference reported on Tuesday.

Officials said that the expo will attract more than 500 wine enterprises from 58 wine producing areas in 22 countries. This year's event will be the largest yet in terms of scale.

Hosted by the Yantai government, the wine expo will also be China's first wine exposition to feature the theme of "famous production areas + renowned brands + whole industrial chain".

It will provide a platform for wine exhibitors from home and abroad to exchange ideas on the wine industry and seek cooperation opportunities.

Around 50 wine activities, including wine tasting, high-end forums, and product release conferences will be held during the expo, with several leading companies to attend such as Changyu Group, Juding Chateau and Great Wall.
