With the rapid increase in population in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, the city's Jimei district is planning to build a new community healthcare center to improve the area's basic medical services.
The new center, with a planned area of 8,400 square meters, is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
Combining basic health care and community public health services, the center will offer emergency services, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, rehabilitation and many other departments.
After completion, it will be the largest community health service center in Jimei district.
