Xiamen in East China's Fujian province is set to reduce administrative charges, including for entry-exit travels and intellectual property applications, starting from July 1, local media reported.
In terms of the immigration office and entry-exit administration office, the charge for each private ordinary visa will be reduced from 160 yuan ($23.33) to 120 yuan, while that for each Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao will be cut by 20 to 60 yuan.
Regarding the intellectual property department, renewal of trademark registration will be reduced from 1,000 yuan to 500 yuan. Other trademark application services, including trademark registration and the re-issuance of registration certificates, will be charged at 90 percent of the current price.
At the industry and information technology department, various frequency occupation fees are expected to be removed.
