The administration committee of Qiangtang New Area in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province is seeking designs from all over the world for its official logo, local media reported on June 18.
The area, approved by the Zhejiang provincial government on April 2, is part of Hangzhou's effort to build a world-class intelligent manufacturing industry cluster and accelerate the city's integration into the Yangtze River Delta region by optimizing resource allocation, strengthening scientific and technological innovation, and accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading.
All the designs should clearly show both the Chinese and English names of the district as well as the logo, reflecting not only the pioneering spirit of the district but also its innovative and intelligent-oriented development strategy.
Logo designs can be emailed to hz_qtxq@126.com before July 18. Submissions must be in PDF format with a file size no larger than 300MB.
The top 10 winning bids will receive certificates and bonuses ranging from 5,000 yuan ($724) to 80,000 yuan.
