Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region held the China (Guangxi)-Germany (Munich) Intelligent Industry Conference in Munich, Germany on June 18 to further strengthen economic and trade relations with Germany.
Investment promotion of Guangxi cities such as Liuzhou and Yulin were carried out at the conference. In addition, relevant institutions and enterprises of Guangxi and Germany signed 10 cooperation agreements in trade, science and technology, environmental protection, as well as training.
Chen Wu, chairman of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, said at the conference that he hoped that the two sides will promote deep cooperation in industry cooperation, especially in the fields of machinery, automobiles, environmental protection, and new energy; promote the interconnection of Asia and Europe; strengthen trade and tourism cooperation; as well as open up third-party markets together with the help of Guangxi's unique location and platform advantages in China-ASEAN cooperation.
Silke Besser, president of the German-Chinese Business Association (DCW), said that DCW is willing to work together with Guangxi to build a platform for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, as well as to expand cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road in trade, investment, and logistics.
