The Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University signed a cooperation agreement with Shaare Zedek Medical Center during the 3rd China-Israel Health Care Summit held in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province, on June 14.
The Chongchuan-based hospital also became a member of the China-Israel hospital alliance.
According to the agreement, the two sides will work together in a number of areas, including clinical research, remote medical treatment, and the training of employees.
The affiliated hospital has established partnerships with several renowned international institutes, including the Leicester General Hospital, the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and the University of Melbourne.
The Shaare Zedek Medical Center was founded in 1902 and is an affiliated hospital of the medicine department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The center boasts global clout in cardiology, oncology, medical genetics, neurology, and many other fields.
