A business delegation from China's Shanxi province went to France to visit Silk Road Paris, the largest hub for B2B commerce in Europe, on June 14.
Located near Charles De Gaulle Airport, Silk Road Paris operates business in clothes, leather and accessories, home designs and electronic products -- targeting producers and exporters from Europe and Asia.
Miguel Gois, deputy general director of Silk Road Paris, guided the delegation through the center and told them that Silk Road Paris could offer a customized and good business environment for Shanxi companies to facilitate their development.
The tour to Silk Road Paris was a part of the Shanxi Brands Silk Road Tour (Western Europe) which started on June 9.
Companies from Shanxi province aim to boost their business and cultural communications with Belt and Road countries and regions -- in the fields of textiles, food, medicines, chemicals and farm produce -- by taking advantage of Silk Road Paris, according to Jiao Yufeng, deputy director of the Shanxi branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
