Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, known for its prosperous private economy, organized training courses on June 15-17 for graduates returned from abroad who intent to build businesses in their hometown.

People who have studied in other countries are usually expected to have active minds and be familiar with both Chinese and foreign thinking modes. This group of people forms a considerable part of China's young entrepreneurs.

Every year, 3,000 to 4,000 students from Wenzhou choose to further their studies abroad, but few of them will come back. How to attract overseas returnees is a major concern for the city's human resources bureau.

The three-day training session about business operation was organized for this purpose. A total of 35 people, including representatives of overseas graduates and professionals from the sectors of finance and venture capital, attended the event.
