Shenyang sees over 50,000 donate blood in 5 months

More than 50,000 people in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, donated their blood during the first five months this year, according to the local authorities.
The Blood Center of Shenyang has set up 15 fixed blood donation stations and six mobile blood donation vehicles in the city, for voluntary blood donations.
June 14 marked the 16th World Blood Donor Day. Shenyang’s health commission and the Blood Center of Shenyang held activities on the day, highlighting the improvements made in safe blood supplies.
