Yabuli promotes its summer tourism delights

A summer tourism promotion meeting for Yabuli -- the well-known ski resort in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province -- was held in Harbin on June 10.

Although Yabuli’s winter ski resort is better known, its summer tourism attractions are not to be sold short.

The resort boasts the delights of its Yabuli Xueshan Water World, Yabuli Giant Panda Pavilion and the Yuanmaotun Cultural Village for summer, allowing tourists to take a break from the summer heat and sample local folk culture, to boot.

This year special activities during the summer tourism season in Yabuli will include a music festival, free light shows, open air movies, folk a market and camping in the forests.

To make it easier for visitors who want to head to Yabuli, tourist buses linking Yabuli Xueshan Water World to the center of Harbin city, as well as Mudanjiang, Yanshou, Wuchang and Shangzhi, will be opened.
