The international medical opening-up pilot zone that will be established in Fangchenggang, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has drawn great attention from people across all walks of life.
The establishment of the pilot zone comes from a declaration released during the International Medical Innovation and Cooperation Forum held in Fangchenggang from May 26 to 29. The Fangchenggang Declaration of the International Medical Innovation Cooperation Forum (China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization) is expected to create opportunities for regional medical cooperation.
Ban Zhongbai, mayor of Fangchenggang, said that the city will cultivate the strategic industries of pharmaceuticals and big health, as well as promote industrial transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development. It will also focus on industrial park planning, investment promotion, and construction prior to carrying out a green channel for pharmaceutical approval, international capital cooperation, and the introduction of medical talents.
In the future, Fangchenggang will take the experimental zone as an opportunity to increase the construction of a healthy city, as well as promote the accelerated development of the city's medical and health work.
