Zhuhai in mighty fine company as visitor destination

China's largest online travel agency has rated Zhuhai the 5th most attractive domestic city for inbound tourists, joining Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao, Xiamen, Sanya, Zhangjiajie, and Guilin in the top 10.

Ctrip also cited Zhuhai on June 13 for sharing the fastest-growth in ticket reservations by inbound tourists in the first quarter of this year. The others are Qingdao, Xiamen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Nanjing, Guilin, and Xi'an.

At the same time, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom was ranked by Ctrip as the 9th most-visited tourist site. Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom received over 10 million visitors in 2018, according to the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

Statistics from the Zhuhai Culture, Radio, Television, Press & Publication Bureau show that local travel agencies received 298,500 tourists from January to April, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 percent.

Elsewhere, Shanghai Disney Resort, Beijing Palace Museum, Huangpu River Cruise (Shiliu Pu Pier), Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower, Top of Shanghai in Shanghai Tower, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Mutianyu Great Wall, Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park, and Guangzhou Chimelong International Circus are among China's most-favored tourist attractions.
