Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province published the preliminary designs for a major new stadium and the support facilities of a new sports center, the local media reported on June 15.
The entire facilities will cover an area of 89,200 square meters and include a stadium, a parking building for 522 vehicles, a training ground and an assembly area, according to the plans.
The stadium is designed to accommodate 290,000 spectators in its four levels.
The first floor will include equipment rooms and an area for the spectators. The second and fourth floors are grandstands with a VIP lounge on the second floor. The third floor is exclusive for box seats.
In addition to sports competitions, the sports center will also be used for keep-fit exercises, artistic performances and other grand events in the city.
