Quzhou in eastern Zhejiang province has accelerated the development of its digital economy by teaming up with a major digital technology group, as well as a leading research institute in China, local media reported on June 14.
Quzhou Municipal Government will carry out strategic cooperation with Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co, a world-leading provider of innovative security products and solutions in smart firefighting, smart police services, smart city management and smart civil administration.
The Hangzhou-based digital technology business plans to locate its national firefighting operations headquarters in Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, to build the county-level city into a smart firefighting hub in China.
Jiangshan also signed cooperation agreements with the 36th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group on the same day. The two sides will build demonstrative projects for the digital transformation of industry, smart city construction, ecological environmental protection, and the integration of military and civilian industries.
