A large-scale cultural show was staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila, capital of the Philippines, on June 14 to celebrate the 44th anniversary of China and the Philippines establishing diplomatic relations, as well as for the 18th China-Philippines Friendship Day.
The performance was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Broadcasting, Television, and Sports of Hainan Province, as well as associations in the two countries.
The show featured singing and dancing performances with Hainan's Li and Miao ethnic characteristics, offering a humanistic view of Hainan's local customs to the Philippines.
