Qiqihar Crane Watching Festival

August 12 (the anniversary of the founding of Qiqihar) is the annual date of Qiqihar's crane festival, a large-scale international cultural festival of business travel that integrates economy and trade, tourism, culture, art and sports.

The festival usually kicks off with a large-scale artistic performance to show the spirit of the city. The participation of famous art groups and artists from at home and abroad adds luster to the festival. Since its founding in 1992, it has attracted more than 30,000 merchants from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Russia, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan, more than 30 countries and regions.
