The Hangbu Stylish Low Carbon Town in Kecheng district of Quzhou, Zhejiang province, partners up with its Hangzhou counterpart E-fashion Town to ramp up its fashion industry development, local media reported on June 13.
Both of the two towns focus on clothing fashion industry. Hangbu centers on manufacturing and marketing while E-fashion eyes for design and brand building.
With an investment of 1.2 billion yuan ($173.31 million), Hangbu town, the third group of special towns constructed in Zhejiang, is aimed to develop into a hub of the digitalized development of fashion industry.
The E-fashion Town in Hangzhou is the first group of special towns in Zhejiang. The number of high-end designers in the town leads the industry parks of its kind in China after three years of development.
Hangbu hopes to learn from E-fashion's experience in attracting leading fashion businesses and top designers as well as promoting economic transformation, according to Xia Lingfei, deputy director of Hangbu Stylish Low Carbon Town.
