SND industry park debuts at Boao Forum

The Jiangsu Medtech Industry Park in Suzhou New District of Suzhou city, Jiangsu province, made its debut at the Global Health Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia held in Qingdao, Shandong province from Jun 10 to 12.

The Suzhou industry park showcased its industrial layout, innovation system and medical device accelerators.

Organizers said the scientific payoffs, service platforms and innovation ecosystem presented by the industry park's research institutes and businesses aroused great interest from their global peers.

The medical devices industry has always been one of the key strategic emerging industries in Suzhou New District, and the Jiangsu Medtech Industry Park is the vital carrier for the industry's development in the district.

To date, the industry park has attracted more than 200 medical device companies, covering in vitro diagnosis, biomedical materials, medical imaging, among others.
