The Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition opens at 8:00 daily and closes at 21:00 while the last entry is on 18:30.
Booking Tickets:
The ticket price is 120 yuan ($17.7) on ordinary days and 160 days on opening day April 29 and holidays. Those who reserve online from Jan 20 to April 28 will enjoy a 10-percent discount.
Preferential prices are offered to people with disabilities, senior citizens, children, students and soldiers.
Online tickets are available at aoyou.com and ctrip.com.
Residents who have booked tickets online will be able to enter the expo area by swiping their identity cards, with no paper tickets needed.
To encourage visitors to spend the night in Yanqing and avoid peak hours, organizers also offer "overnight tickets," allowing buyers who enter the expo area after 4 pm to continue their visits the next day.
Transportation:
Beijing Expo 2019 has released six non-stop bus lines to serve tourists during the event. The Line 1 will depart everyday while the departing interval limits 30 minutes. The Line 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be on operation on weekends and holidays with 30-minute departing interval.
The one-way ticket costs 16 yuan per person. The ticket package (including a ticket of expo and a bus ticket) is discounted. Tourists can book tickets online via Aoyou.com and Damai.cn or scan the QR code at the stop.

Tips on visiting the expo:
Quick Entry by Showing ID Cards
To facilitate quick and orderly entry into the Expo Site, please wait in lines and get your ID card ready for pre-check, ticket check and security inspection before entering. In the process of ticket check, those who hold concessionary tickets must show their valid certificates that prove they are entitled for such concession.
Safe Tour to the Expo
Please don't take anything that may disturb other visitors or undermine the order of the Expo Site such as pets, drones, kites, handheld transceivers, and speakers. Children and seniors who are physically inconvenienced shall be accompanied by able adults. Except for wheelchairs for the elderly and the disabled and strollers for children, no vehicles are allowed to enter the Expo Site. In case of emergencies, please ask help from staff members around you.
Taking Action to Safeguard the Environment
To maintain a green, beautiful environment for yourself and others, please follow relevant travel etiquettes, protect public facilities, maintain environmental sanitation and care plants growing in the Expo Site. Behaviors such as climbing or destroying structures and exhibits are prohibited.
Enjoying Considerate Service and Having Fun
Tourist service centers in the Expo Site provide services including information inquiry, storage of personal belongings, lost & found service, and search for missing persons. The Park offers wheel-chair and baby carriage rental service at tourist service center. Visitors can use them for free after paying deposit. Charging service is also available at the center. In addition to toliets, 13 baby-care rooms are set in the expo site among which two are in the International Pavilion.
