Sci-tech carnival kicks off in Baotou city

A science and technology carnival kicked off in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently, attracting the keen participation of teenage science and technology enthusiasts, according to a June 10 report in the Baotou Daily.

The week-long carnival, hosted by the Baotou Science and Technology Association, is part of Baotou city’s Science and Technology Week, and aims to promote scientific knowledge and awareness.

It is the second time that Baotou city has organized a science and technology carnival.

More than 30 activities in four categories –– science and technology competitions, science and technology exhibitions, sports competitions and games –– are to be held during the carnival.
