A 24-hour water automatic detection sampling system was first applied in the Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, an industry cluster of equipment manufacturing of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on June 5, in a bid to fight against proposal of untreated waste water.
Around 60 key enterprises in the zone adopted the waste water disposal monitoring system.
Monitoring systems are installed at the waste water discharge outlet of every enterprise, automatically detecting waste water according to the sampling time, ratio and frequency set up by the technical staff of the Shenyang Ecological Environment Bureau.
When waste water does not reach the environmental protection standards, the related enterprises will be notified by the monitoring system and the collected data will be sent to Shenyang environmental protection authority as administrative penalty basis.
Compared to the traditional manual detection method, the automatic system can operate 24 hours a day without intervals, which significantly improves working efficiency and will not give any chance for enterprises to escape from supervision.
