Fangchenggang to hold 12th Guangxi Garden and Hoticulture Expo

The 12th Guangxi Garden and Hoticulture Expo will be held in Fangchenggang, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on June 25. A press conference held on June 3 revealed that Garden Expo Park is expected to be completed in mid-June and will be open to the public for free after completion.

The Guangxi Gardening and Horticultural Expo is a garden expo event hosted by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is rotated around 14 cities in Guangxi. The event serves an important opportunity to showcase the achievements of gardening and horticulture, as well as the ecological construction of the participating cities.

Garden Expo Park is located on the west side of Jinhuacha Avenue in downtown Fangchenggang. Its total planned area is about 3,287 mu (219.13 hectares) and the total investment is about 1.07 billion yuan ($154.8 million). The main construction encompasses the main venue, supporting services, greening, parking lots, water and electricity, as well as other supporting facilities.

In addition to special exhibitions such as a flower arrangement art exhibition, a large bonsai exhibition, as well as a calligraphy, painting, and photography exhibition, the Expo will also hold exhibitions spotlighting Fangchenggang, such as a Golden Flower Tea Exhibition, a Redwood Exhibition, a Food Festival, and an ASEAN special products exhibition.

The mascots and logo of the 12th Guangxi Garden and Horticultural Expo were also released at the press conference.
