Another helping hand guides young Macao start-ups

Macao-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley (Inno Valley HQ) opened a service center on June 3 to help individuals and teams during the early stages of creating businesses.

The Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Service Center provides consultation on business registration, taxation and accounting, policies and laws, intellectual property, project application, human resources, and investment and financing every Wednesday from 2 to 5 pm. Entrepreneurship training camps and competitions are also planned.

The first cooperative institutions to settle in the center are Hengqin New Area Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, ZLF Law Office, Hengqin Pilot Free Trade Zone Branch of Bank of China, Hengqin International Intellectual Property Trading Center, Hengqin Development Ltd Liability Co, Sanjiang Human Resource Comprehensive Service Center, and HQFI InnoValley Incubator Management.

Inno Valley HQ is an innovative incubation platform to boost exchanges and cooperation between young people from Macao and the Chinese mainland and to help them start businesses. Since its inception in 2015, it has incubated 196 Macao projects and served 13,000 enterprises and individuals.
