Around the Sun Island Marathon wows participants

The fourth Around the Sun Island Marathon wowed participants when it was held in the Sun Island scenic spot of Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province on June 2.

About 1,800 running enthusiasts from the city took part in the early-summer race, including those from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Management Commission of the Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Government, the Harbin Normal University and Harbin Bank.

With long-distance running becoming increasingly popular in China, the Harbin event provided participants with a unique experience as the route takes in Sun Island, with its stunning and photogenic scenery.
